About the Author
After two years of study at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris, Olivier Ledroit turned to the profession of illustrator. He thus produced various drawings for games magazines. His meeting with the scriptwriter Froideval played a decisive role in his career. The two men joined forces and launched into comics with the Chronicles of the Black Moon . In June 1997, he adapted the short story Mortal Enemies by Philip K. Dick. The universe of this author also inspired him for the design of The Scarlet Gate at Soleil. At Vents d’ouest editions, he signed the two volumes of the fantastic thriller Xoco , with Thomas Mosdi. The public discovered the dark side of his talent by drawing the dark fantasy series Requiem, chevalier vampire , on a script by Pat Mills. First published by Nickel, this series was reissued by Glénat in early 2016. With the same publisher, he launched a new series mixing fairy tales and steampunk universe based on Thomas Day’s first comic book scenario: Wika .

Ledroit works each of his boards directly in color, playing with the effects of materials and volumes. He reveals himself to be a true leader of this generation of authors that appeared at the beginning of the 1990s, fascinated by heroic fantasy , role-playing games and the new Anglo-Saxon comics.
