The Little Library of Happiness

It is in Ireland that book-loving Hannah is determined to rebuild her life!
Hannah Casey was living a luxurious life in London until she caught her husband with another woman. Upset, she returned to her mother’s home village on the west coast of Ireland. She quickly found a job as a librarian and threw herself fully into the work she was passionate about.
However, this new beginning, at 51, was far from easy. Especially since the cohabitation between Hannah and her mother quickly turned sour. Hannah then thought of the dilapidated little house perched on the cliff that her great-aunt had left her. She decided to move in and renovate the building, with the help of Fury, a charming and cheerful mason who began… by lending her a goat to mow her lawn! Thanks to him, Hannah gradually discovers the wacky life of the village, the endearing personalities that make it up, but also the strong bonds uniting these isolated families in the Irish countryside.
When she learns that the library is threatened with closure, Hannah knows that she can count on her new friends to help her fight and overcome this ordeal.

A delicate prose that accurately highlights the feelings of the characters, their doubts, their fears and their joys. The chapters follow one another without any downtime thanks to the adventures that punctuate the story, without forgetting lively dialogues, alternately funny and moving.
